Registered Nurse - Nuclear Cardiology Nurse

Job Description Saint Luke's South has an opportunity for a Nuclear Cardiology Nurse. This growing team supervises the exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for inpatients and outpatients. The department sees roughly 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient population. Staff are responsible for advanced ECG and arrhythmia interpretation and recognition; for handling radioactive material; and for an adult and geriatric patient population. Hours 8‑hour shifts Monday–Friday. No weekends and no call. Responsibilities Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures. Job Requirements Applicable Experience: 2 years Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross; Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross; Registered Nurse (MO) Multi‑State – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
