Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.***YOUR CHALLENGE:*** Executes daily material handling activities including receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, parts and products. Ensures that all materials are properly labeled, packaged, and stored in designated areas. (20%)* Supports the inventory management process by counting and verifying materials, parts and products. Identifies and reports any discrepancies or damages. Recommends process improvements to reduce future discrepancies. (20%)* Executes daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing materials, preparing shipments and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Contacts carriers to pick up freight. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. (20%)* Performs a variety of kitting and order functions. Performs cycle count inventory. (20%)* Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
