Stambaughs Inc. is looking for a skilled and dependable Lowboy/Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Union Bridge, MD. This is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of heavy equipment and be a key part of a hardworking crew. If you take pride in safe, professional driving and getting the job done right, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Operate lowboy and dump truck vehicles to transport heavy equipment, materials, and loads to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload materials safely, following proper securement procedures
- Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members
- Adhere to all traffic laws, weight limits, and safety regulations
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Previous experience operating lowboy trailers and/or dump trucks strongly preferred
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
- Experience with load securement and heavy haul transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
