Forklift Operator- Stand-Up

We are currently recruiting for skilled and safety-conscious Stand-Up forklift operators.   Candidate must have verifiable prior certificiation, a minumum of 6 months experience within the last 18 months.  Key Responsibilities include:

• Expertly operate a stand-up forklift 
• Load/unload material
• RF scanner operation and ability to perform accurate counts of material
• Safety First mindset
• Ability to stand for an 8-10 hour shift in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
• Reliability- A truck record of consistent attendance and punctuality

salary: $18 - $18.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading trailers and supplying material in necessary areas.  Expertly operate a stand-up forklift-  Must have at least 6 months of consecutive experience within the last 18 months.  Candidate may be responsible for using RF scanners, performing inventory counts, verifying piece counts, delivering materials to other areas, removing finished goods to the shipping staging area, and posses the ability to effectively communicate with manager and other coworkers.   Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.  Attendance is crucial on a daily basis.  

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 30lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
