Pinchin is seeking an Associate to join our Building Envelope team. The Associate position represents an important step within Pinchin’s leadership pathway. Associates are expected to demonstrate increasing responsibility for people, projects, clients, and business performance while developing the leadership capabilities necessary for future advancement within the organization. As we expand across the US, we’re seeking an Associate to lead complex projects and support regional growth. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experts across the region, strengthen project delivery, and help shape resilient, high‑performing buildings. Your Impact as an Associate The right candidate brings a combination of: Lead and support the delivery of technical consulting services and projects. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor. Provide technical expertise and ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables. Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of junior technical staff. Contribute to business development activities, including client engagement and identifying new opportunities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and innovative solutions. Support project planning, execution, and overall client satisfaction. What You’ll Bring To Pinchin The successful candidate will bring a combination of technical experience, project leadership, client service, and developing management capabilities. You are a collaborative and accountable professional who takes ownership of your work, builds strong relationships, supports the development of others, and understands that successful projects require both technical excellence and an exceptional client experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related technical field. Equivalent combinations of education, credentials, and relevant experience may be considered. Minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, building envelope consulting, existing buildings, construction consulting, or a related professional services environment. Demonstrated experience managing projects from initial client engagement through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, technical coordination, deliverables, bidding, and construction‑phase services. Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas including building envelope systems, roofing, waterproofing, façade and concrete restoration, windows and doors, structural assessments, forensic investigations, or capital improvement projects. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and financial accountability. Experience preparing and reviewing proposals, technical reports, specifications, construction documents, and other professional deliverables. Ability to mentor and support developing team members, providing day‑to‑day guidance while promoting accountability and collaboration. Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability and willingness to contribute to business development and organic growth by strengthening existing relationships, identifying client needs, supporting proposals, and developing new opportunities. Commitment to integrity, accountability, technical excellence, responsiveness, collaboration, and exceptional client service. Ability to collaborate across offices and disciplines and contribute to the broader success of One Pinchin. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites, client meetings, and other Pinchin offices as required.
