Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse (CCL) Issaquah, Washington
The organization is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Nurse to support cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology, including STEMI EP lab and interventional/procedural services. Responsibilities include preparation and monitoring for procedures, assisting with required clinical tasks, and supporting care activities aligned with unit needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10 shift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. One weekday and one weekend per month (minimum requirement); hours may vary depending on staffing and vacation, with potential 8-hour or 10-hour shifts and additional days/weekends per month.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (ACLS), BLS (BLS); 2 years of experience required; and experience with skills including Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Cooling / Warming Blanket, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, and Syringe Pumps, as well as the ability to perform required procedural and monitoring tasks for the unit. License must be brought on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong candidates with interventional radiology background may be considered if lacking cardiac catheterization experience, as the role may accommodate an IR nurse in place of a Cath Lab nurse.
• Additional Information: On-call coverage is required as one weekday and one weekend per month (minimum requirement). The unit supports cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology procedures, including STEMI EP lab/interventional/procedural work, with associated clinical activities such as procedural sedation administration/monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and hypothermia protocol.
