Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months of permanent dialysis experience required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand required. Certifications: Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required. Must-Have: - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the dialysis specialty required for submission. - References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Active required certifications in hand at the time of submission. - Background checks must be clear with no open cases. - Must be nicotine-free for all travelers except nurses and CSTs. Description: All requirements listed in the job description and submittal requirements are non-negotiable. Day shift available; three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. On-call rotation and every other weekend required. We provide in-center hemodialysis services for stable patients. Bedside hemodialysis for ICU patients who cannot travel is also provided. Disconnection and connection of peritoneal dialysis treatments are part of duties. CRRT therapy is managed by ICU nurses, not provided by our staff. Fresenius machines are used for IHD, with a full orientation provided. PIRRT or Tablo machines are not utilized. Candidates may extend with the client for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break after that period. Annual hands-on competency is required for nurses on continuous contracts of one year or returning the following calendar year. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, varying by specialty.
