The CNA assists patients with personal care and daily living activities while working under the supervision of nursing staff. The CNA helps ensure patients receive respectful, safe, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patients with eating, walking, transfers, and repositioning.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
• Report concerns and changes in patients' conditions to the nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Document care provided and respect patient privacy.

Requirements

• Active certification or registry eligibility appropriate to New Jersey's nurse aide requirements
• Completion of the applicable state-approved training and competency requirements.
• Current BLS/CPR certification if required by the facility.
• Previous CNA experience preferred,
• Compassion, patience, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and credentialing verifications.
