Join us.Position Title: Electronics EngineerLocation: Irvine, CAWork Arrangement: On-sitePosition Summary: DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Electronics Engineer who will be a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of DZYNE's aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.Required Duties And ResponsibilitiesParticipate in full PCB design cycle involving schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testsDesign, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystemsDefine wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicleSupport design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirementsConduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviewsWork closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard proceduresRequired Skills/QualificationsMinimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experienceDemonstrated capability in circuit board design, bring-up, and validationProven experience in designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshootingKnowledge of Analog/Mixed-signal and Digital circuits/componentsCompetence with common test equipment, and CAD tools such as AltiumProven communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills/QualificationsExperience in designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systemsHands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware/software integrationUAV experience highly desirableExperience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environmentFamiliarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessingEducationBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldClearance Level RequiredNoneTravel RequiredUp to 10%Working ConditionsThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.Physical DemandsMust have the ability to stop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.Export Control / ITAR RequirementThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.Work Authorization RequirementCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.Salary$100,000 – $149,000 annually Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
