Human Resources Benefits Administrator
$70,000 - $80,000 DOE

Position Summary
The Human Resources Benefits Administrator serves as the primary administrator for employee benefits, ACA compliance, retirement plan administration, and HRIS support. This position works closely with employees, leadership, payroll, and benefit vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and employee-focused benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits programs
- Manage employee benefit enrollments, life event changes, terminations, and COBRA administration
- Coordinate and support annual open enrollment
- Administer the organization's 401(k) retirement plan and respond to employee inquiries
- Maintain ACA compliance, employee eligibility tracking, measurement periods, and 1095-C reporting processes
- Ensure benefit deductions and payroll-related changes are processed accurately
- Maintain employee records, reporting, and data integrity within Paylocity and other HR systems
- Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and provide ongoing employee support
- Assist with wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs
- Provide backup support for leave administration, ADA accommodations, and disability-related processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of employee benefits administration experience
- Strong knowledge of ACA compliance, eligibility tracking, and 1095-C reporting
- Experience managing open enrollment and year-round benefits administration
- Experience administering 401(k) plans and employee retirement benefits
- HRIS experience required; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data management abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Healthcare or nonprofit experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Bilingual skills are a plus
