Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Trainee in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production areas entry points parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity by verifying credentials following visitor processing procedures and reporting suspicious behavior policy violations and/or restricted area concerns.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports relaying important information during shift changes and assisting with site-specific security-related assignments as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
