Healthcare Valet Attendant

The Details Position: Valet Attendant / Golf Cart Classification: Full-Time Location: Banner Health - Phoenix, AZ Pay Rate: $15.15 (no tip credit) + Cash tips averaging an additional $5‑10 per hour Schedule: Full Time – Mon – Fri 7:30 a m – 4 p m (occasionally 5 p m) Requirement: Driver's license required; minimum of 2 years Sign‑On Bonus: $250 (paid after 60 days of employment) Flu Vaccination: Required for this healthcare location. Vaccination will be provided by the client; exemptions must be approved by HR and the client. The Spirit of the Position A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of utmost importance. What Will I Do? Park and retrieve cars efficiently and in a timely manner while greeting customers by name and meeting their needs. Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile. Provide a self‑reliant attitude, working with or without supervision. Promote excellent customer relations by going above and beyond. Address customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures. Maintain and care for all company‑issued equipment. Assist with special assignments and projects as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned. You Are Charismatic, energetic, and happy to help in any way you can. Responsible and reliable; you never disappoint. Can pass a background check. Good under pressure and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Communicates clearly and can speak, read, and comprehend English. Team player who is open to different perspectives and can motivate others. Safe driver with a clean record; can drive a standard and manual transmission vehicle. Education High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Experience Strong customer service experience. Cash handling experience preferred but not required. Parking industry experience preferred but not required. Two years of driving experience with an active license required. Skills Professional and effective communication skills. Flexibility to work at multiple facility locations. Capability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations. Ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions.Experience driving a manual shift vehicle. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
