Job TitleHVAC TechnicianJob Description SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for the proper Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems andequipment. This includes but is not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillarysupport equipment, water treatment, controls and BMS/EMS.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modifythis position description from time to time to meet the needs of the siteand/or building(s)Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems.Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.Respond to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the operational and comfortneeds of the building(s) occupants, where applicable.Be proficient ¡n the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the sequences required for properbuilding, equipment and system operations.Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the buildingsystems.Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenanceprogram. .Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule.Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Proceduresand work instructions.Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.\Ability to work in a team or with minimal supervisionMust be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekendsCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
