Join Rapides Regional Medical Center as a Cardiac Telemetry RN in a full-time, night shift position (7p-7a), with rotating weekends. This role is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver patient-centered care in line with department requirements and practice standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition during admission and scheduled shifts, reporting any changes in status.
• Perform procedures and monitor patient responses, documenting care administration in the medical record.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take action for unintended responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate/Provisional Nurse or Registered Nurse required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree required.
