Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe in Leander, TX is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Cafe Prep Cook / Dishwasher to help our kitchen run smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and proper storage
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep stations
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards
• Support line cooks and culinary leadership during service as needed
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• Communicate proactively regarding inventory or product concerns

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with sanitation standards

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CAFE PREP COOK / DISHWASHER

• 18+ years old
• Good work history
• Understanding of cooking methods and procedures
• Excellent knife-handling skills
• Ability to enthusiastically and thoroughly follow instructions
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to easily carry 40+ lbs

Experience as a prep cook or dishwasher is preferred but is not required. Are you service-oriented? Can you work on your feet for several hours at a time? Are you a team player?
