Pay Range $100.00 Hourly to $100.00 Hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical histories, and evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, rehabilitation potential, and goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and clinical evidence
- Implement stretching, therapeutic and strengthening exercises, and manual therapies (e.g., joint mobilization, soft tissue massage)
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment progress and expectations
- Current Colorado Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work as-needed shifts
- Experience in orthopedic or sports medicine rehabilitation
- Certification in specialized areas (e.g., Certified Athletic Trainer, Sports Physical Therapy)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
- Experience working in outpatient clinic settings
- Familiarity with mountain community healthcare needs
