Help children build the skills they need for everyday independenceon a flexible, part-time schedule.
Peninsula Pediatric Therapy, P.C. is a Carmel-based practice seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric services in Hollister . This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling , working with children (birth21) with developmental, sensory, neuromuscular, and orthopedic needs. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients using occupational therapy techniques
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor patient progress
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (in good standing)
- Pediatric experience or strong interest in pediatrics
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Reliable transportation between work sites
- Ability to assist with lifting children and equipment
