BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Title
This position involves a variety of duties to support the assigned systems and programs.
Duties
The responsibilities include:
- Developing and submitting annual funding requirements for the assigned systems/programs.
- Processing rough order magnitude (ROM) cost estimates from all activities within the depot.
- Establishing mutually supportive and beneficial relationships between naval aviation and commercial industry to integrate the use of business and trade practices within DOD.
- Initiating partnering opportunities between the Government and Industry in accordance with Title 10 Public Law.
- Developing, formulating, and managing a program to enhance technology transfer for internal mission enhancement and external value benefiting both naval aviation and industry partners.
- Attending activity command conferences, meeting with officials from Naval Systems Commands and other agencies as well as representatives of private industry.
- Developing and making formal presentations concerning depot capability status/concern/issues to review conferences.
- Participating as the depot technical representative on source selection committees.
- Developing, coordinating, and directing the execution of future workload re-alignment plans to meet the command capacity and capability with potential customers.
