Job Title: Quality Inspector

What to Expect

Gotion is seeking a dynamic Quality Inspector who can conduct quality checks on our EV battery related products throughout the manufacturing process, record the results, and make recommendations for quality improvements to the process.

What You'll Do

• Understand product test requirements and procedures for energy storage systems.
• Utilize inspection and measurement equipment to qualify product quality by following established operating instructions.
• Conduct quality inspections at all production stages: incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate and complete inspection records, ensuring data integrity.
• Generate test reports, verifying that report data accurately reflects testing results.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience doing dedicated quality control in a technically challenging manufacturing setting
• Proficiency with standard computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets)
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on detail.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across departments.
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed and travel internationally to China for a training trip if required.

Physical Requirements

• The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
• Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip).
• Visual acuity including, but not limited to:
  • NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
  • FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
  • DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships to see objects where and as they actually are.
  • COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.

The U.S. base pay for this position is $24/hr. + benefits.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
