Senior Electrical Engineer, Mixed-Signal Hardware

GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and debug mixed-signal circuit boards and electronic subsystems for next-generation MRI platforms. The role combines hands-on hardware development with opportunities for project leadership, mentoring, and technical influence on a Digital Controls & Mixed Signal Engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and verify mixed-signal circuit boards and subsystems for MRI platforms
Perform component selection, schematic development, circuit analysis, and board bring-up activities
Define and validate electrical interfaces across hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical engineering
Lead or contribute to verification approaches, root-cause investigations, and signal/power integrity activities
Support product lifecycle from early architecture through production, including mentoring and design reviews

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years designing and debugging electronic hardware
Demonstrated mixed-signal board or subsystem design expertise
Hands-on experience integrating analog circuitry with microcontrollers, processors, or similar digital devices
Proficiency with schematic development, component selection, board bring-up, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with embedded interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, or comparable)
