Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology department. The successful candidate will perform general ultrasound procedures on both adult and pediatric patients, including biopsies, while ensuring a high standard of patient care.

This position requires weekday shifts from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities one weekday night per week and every fourth weekend.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Registered as an Ultrasound Technologist with ARRT and ARDMS certifications.

Prior experience in X-ray is necessary.

Knowledge of Siemens ultrasound equipment is preferred.

This role is located in City, State. The candidate must comply with the radius rule, meaning they should reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Note: Artificial nails are not permitted within patient care areas.

A comprehensive one-week department-specific orientation will be provided, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or less if necessary.

The department utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for PACS.

This position operates within a Level 3 trauma care setting.
