Role Summary

The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in conducting routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging procedures. This position also involves performing venipuncture as necessary and providing support to Radiologists and Radiology nurses during sedation cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized MRI imaging.
• Perform interventional MRI procedures.
• Administer venipuncture when required.
• Assist Radiologists and nursing staff during sedation cases.

Qualifications

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program that meets MQSA standards.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, along with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT) or ARMRIT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience:

• Preferred: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
