Choir Accompanist

Part-Time Choir Piano Accompanist St. Timothy Lutheran Church - Naperville, IL St. Timothy Lutheran Church, an ELCA faith community dedicated to Living the Love of Christ, is seeking a part-time Choir Piano Accompanist to support our music ministry. Responsibilities Accompany the choir during weekly rehearsals and Sunday worship services Collaborate with the Choir Director on repertoire and rehearsal planning Provide accompaniment for special services (e.g., Christmas, Holy Week/Easter, and other seasonal worship events) Attend rehearsals and services as scheduled Preferred Qualifications Strong sight-reading skills Proficiency in piano/keyboard performance Experience accompanying choirs or vocal ensembles Comfort with a range of musical styles (traditional hymns, contemporary, choral anthems) Ability to work collaboratively with a Choir Director and volunteer choir members Prior experience in a church or faith-based music setting is a plus Schedule Wednesday, Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings Ability to work 8 to 10 hours a week Compensation $25.00 to $30.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Vance Airscoop
