Assembly Operator - 2 needed - Part-time

Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking Assembly Operators to ensure products are assembled to meet quality standards. You will w ork part-time about 20 hours each week; however, there is the possibility of this turning into a full-time, permanent position for the right person.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble small parts and product kits
• Follow written instructions and specifications
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Inspect finished products for accuracy
• Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be mechanically inclined and have previous assembly experience
• Must have the ability to safely use hand tools and have manual dexterity
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• The ability to pay a high attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently, and also, as part of a team
• Must have the ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and keep all equipment running smoothly
