DIETARY AIDE/ASST

Job Title

Responsible for the accurate recording of patient diets in patient Kardex and the updating of changes as necessary to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language Experience: Previous experience preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required. Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer operations preferred. License/Certification: Food Handler Safety Training Card. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
