Shift Leader: Drive Service & Store Performance

Assisting General Manager in managing the human resources and equipment of the store to achieve the quality and performance goals established by the company. Primary Responsibilities Supervise personnel in absence of the General Manager or Sales Manager or when specifically assigned that responsibility. Assist General Manager in the effective use of labor, inventories, customer service, quality, and cash control. Properly open or close store in accordance with work schedule. Perform any administrative duties as assigned by the General Manager. Specific Functions As delegated by the General Manager: Ensure customers are given prompt and courteous attention, sales are maximized and the image of the company is enhanced. Monitor customer service and ensure store personnel are assigned to the correct station during peak business periods. Monitor the appearance and quality of baked and decorated product. Supervise job performance ensuring duties as prescribed in the appropriate Job Description section of the manual are completed correctly. Monitor food, labor, paper and supplies costs. Use scales while scooping, enforce time management, and minimize waste with paper supplies. Ensure proper cash handling procedures are in place. Assign register staff, and conduct regular shift audits. Perform other duties and functions as assigned by upper management. About the Organization The Jerman Cookie Co.
