Employment Type Part-time Requirements Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Licensure: Valid NY State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of RDH experience required. Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Softdent and Kodak X-ray systems is highly preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Location: Ability to commute to Somers, NY 10589 (In-person role). Job Description Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive cleanings (scaling/polishing), apply sealants, and administer fluoride treatments. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough medical history reviews and assessments to ensure safe, personalized treatment planning. Education: Empower patients with oral hygiene techniques, dietary advice, and preventive care strategies. Imaging & Documentation: Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays); maintain precise records in Softdent (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA. Team Support: Utilize four-handed dentistry to assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a seamless office flow.
