Registered Dietitian

Responsibilities Assess, develop and direct the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest. Collaborate with and encourage guests and families to participate in development of care plans. Continuously study emerging trends, stay current on new research related to dietetics, and educate the culinary staff on relevant topics in human nutrition and culinary service. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics). Current registration status in Michigan. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age‑related needs of residents. Knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities. Benefits Salary negotiable; yearly wage increases.
