Grain Inspector - Part-Time
$16 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a part-time grain inspector to test and grade grain samples for quality and compliance with industry standards in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The role involves laboratory testing, accurate record-keeping, and supporting grain operations within a small team environment.
Responsibilities
- Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and non-GMO traits
- Record and communicate testing results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers
- Maintain sample flow through lab and support grain operations
- Act as backup sampler and handle related paperwork and documentation
- Maintain lab cleanliness, safety compliance, and recommend process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer proficiency with Excel and Outlook
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds
- Safety-conscious mindset with strong customer service orientation
- Reliable transportation to facility
- 0–3 years related experience preferred
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
