Chemist I, Manufacturing

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Chemist I to perform formulation and manufacturing activities in a GMP-regulated environment. This first-shift position involves executing manufacturing protocols, troubleshooting processes, and maintaining documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing protocols in GMP/ISO-regulated environment using state-of-the-art equipment
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and maintain detailed batch documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product output
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and GMP manufacturing practices
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical methods, and instrumentation
• Proficiency in documentation practices and batch record completion
• Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPE
