** This is a temporary position with potential to become full-time - the successful applicant will be referred to Walker Staffing Services.
2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday through Thursday (4-10 Schedule). Potential for overtime.
Job Description: Level 1 Assembler
Level 1 Assembler Job Purpose:Level 1 assemblers are trained in assembly of product but have not received certification as final assembler. This associate is classified as an assistant and or working towards certification.
Level 1 Assembler Job Duties:
- Demonstrates the ability to assist in all final assembly positions
- General production help
- Tapping sleeve final assembly
- Ultra-sleeve final assembly
- TX3 final assembly
- Repair Clamp final assembly
- Operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- Build product subassemblies or final assemblies
- Prepare and assemble materials
- Maintain inventory of job materials
- Package finished products
- Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements
- Start up and shut down processing equipment
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Clean production equipment or work areas
- Select proper cleaning materials, tools, or equipment
