Medical Records Clerk

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Records Clerk at our East Norriton, PA location.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Handles all Medical Records requests
- Works with Corporate on CIOX and Hedis requests for records
- Creates necessary invoices and handles payment reconciliation for Records and EKG agreements
- Responsible for printing stamps
- Reviews and distributes daily office mail
- Sends our condolence letters
- Performs scanning and indexing of medical records, and releases personal health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Sending Correspondence letters to patients and Family Physicians
- Ordering stationery supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Will train on scheduling system and electronic medical records
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus
