Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Medical-Surgical unit. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while closely monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including case management, social work, and therapy—to coordinate safe and timely discharge planning.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, medications, dietary restrictions, and follow-up care to promote understanding and reduce readmission risk.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience.
• Valid Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Certified Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification is a plus.

Shift:

• Day shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Night shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $39.00, with a weekend shift differential increasing pay to $42.00/hour
