Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based opportunities in Avondale, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year .

Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply! The district is flexible and is open to candidates looking for either a full-time schedule or a part-time opportunity.

This position supports high school students in grades 9–12 and involves providing direct speech and language services at one school, with the possibility of working across two schools.

Responsibilities

The selected SLP or SLPA will provide speech and language support to high school students and collaborate with school staff to address students' communication needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct speech and language services
• Supporting students in grades 9–12
• Collaborating with teachers and school personnel
• Supporting students' educational and communication goals
• Completing required documentation
• Assisting with evaluations and re-evaluations as appropriate to the position

For SLP candidates , the district would like assistance with conducting re-evaluations .

No supervision responsibilities are required for the SLP.

Qualifications

SLP candidates must have:

• Arizona SLP license
• CCC-SLP
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Level 1 fingerprint card is not required

SLPA candidates must meet applicable Arizona SLPA credentialing requirements , including required fingerprint clearance.

Pediatric and/or school-based experience is preferred.

Flexible Scheduling

The district is specifically open to both full-time and part-time SLPs and SLPAs .
