Position Overview
Ford & Son Roofing is hiring an experienced Roofing, Gutter, and Siding Installer to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with hands‐on skill in residential and light‐commercial roofing, gutter installation, siding work, and detailed metal flashing. Experience with soldering , cutting gutter miters , and precision craftsmanship is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial roofing systems (shingles, underlayment, flashing, ventilation components)
- Perform gutter installation including cutting miters, fastening, sealing, and downspout setup
- Install vinyl and aluminum siding, fascia, and soffit
- Fabricate and install metal flashing; perform soldering for custom metal work
- Assist with tear‐offs, repairs, and jobsite cleanup
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
- Work efficiently as part of a crew and take direction from the foreman
- Represent Ford & Son Roofing with professionalism and quality workmanship
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of roofing experience (residential or commercial)
- Experience installing gutters, siding, and metal flashing
- Ability to cut gutter miters accurately and efficiently
- Basic soldering skills for metal flashing and detail work
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work comfortably at heights
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both commercial and residential roofing
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Familiarity with JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or similar job management tools
- Experience working on steep‐slope roofs or specialty materials
