Echocardiogram Technician

AM Shift: 5 × 8 hr shifts, 40 hours/week

The Echocardiogram Technician performs and interprets preliminary non-invasive cardiac studies, which includes but is not limited to 2D and M Mode echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and other outpatient services as needed. The technician is responsible for preparing and interpreting high-quality studies for physicians, executing all outpatient cardiac testing as ordered by the medical staff, and performing non-invasive vascular monitoring. Additionally, the technician assists with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret various non-invasive cardiac studies.
• Prepare quality studies for physician review.
• Execute outpatient cardiac tests as ordered.
• Conduct non-invasive vascular monitoring.
• Assist with TEE procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 3 years of experience as an echocardiogram technician or in a related position Required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required.

This is a 13-week contract position.
