The ideal candidate have a proactive personality, can take initiative, is team oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment as well as travel to different practice sites during a week. The duties include but not limited to: Patient registration and scheduling, patient triage, assisting physician with patient exams, completing lab results and chart documentation, working on prescription orders with pharmacies.Job QualificationThe successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience. (preferred)High school diploma or equivalent graduate of state approved medical assistant certificate program or 2 years experience as a direct care provider in a related clinical setting or a combination of education and experience acceptable.EKG and Phlebotomy CertifiedMontefiore is an equal employment opportunity employer.
