The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule, which promotes both work‑life balance and continuity of care. We are pleased to provide both full‑time and part‑time options to suit a variety of preferences. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on the management of critically ill neurological patients in a dedicated Neuro ICU, with close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Stroke, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery. Our Stroke, Cranial Neurosurgery, and Neuroscience programs have been recognized as the best in Ohio by Health Grades for three consecutive years. Summa was the first hospital in Greater Akron to achieve Comprehensive Stroke Center certification.
