Residential & Commercial Plumber

Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Pay: $30–$48 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client, a respected and growing plumbing contractor in the Wilmington, Delaware area, is hiring an experienced Residential and Commercial Plumber. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering steady work, competitive pay and long-term career potential.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. We are seeking a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing problems
Install and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters and related equipment
Perform service, maintenance and new-installation work
Troubleshoot leaks, drain issues and water-supply problems
Read basic plans, specifications and work orders
Explain recommended repairs clearly to customers
Maintain accurate service documentation
Follow applicable plumbing codes and safety procedures
Keep company tools, equipment and vehicles organized
Work independently while supporting the service and installation teams

Qualifications

Previous residential or commercial plumbing experience
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and local codes
Ability to complete work safely and efficiently
Professional communication and customer-service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift equipment and perform the physical duties of the position
Plumbing license, backflow certification or other relevant credentials are a plus

Compensation and Opportunity
