Material ProcessorLocation: Jamesburg, NJ Pay Rate: $22.07Position SummaryThe Material Processor is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling, processing, and movement of automotive parts and materials within the warehouse. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving through shipping, supporting, and commitment to quality and timely delivery of automotive parts.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and process incoming automotive parts and materials.Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment based on customer or internal orders.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and warehouse management systems (WMS).Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.Ensure all materials are handled in compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Support continuous improvement efforts and participate in team meetings as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, especially in automotive parts distribution.Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift certification a plus).Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Team-oriented and safety-focused workplace culture.
