Metering Material Handler- 1st Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Metering Material Handler- 1st Shift. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $22.71 per hour.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for loading products onto Metering assembly lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient
• Move all products in a safe manner.
• Operate standup lifts.
• Store, space, and deliver materials or products.
• Stack pallets and arrange materials.
• May be required to palletize and secure material as needed.
• Receive training on the use of powered industrial trucks and other powered material handling equipment.
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Valid state issued driver's license required.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Sherman, TX (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong product knowledge.
• Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.

Skills:

Position Criteria:

• Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
• Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
• Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
