Join us!Job Description:Acts as a senior product representative on a team and is responsible for product transactions with key fund sponsors. Negotiates fee structures. Has extensive, in-depth knowledge of product functions and can operate independently in handling transactions. Strong client relationship skills used to control and coordinate all aspects of a transaction, from marketing and documentation to closing. The Private Equity/Real Assets Product Sourcing & Origination team strives to develop and maintain a comprehensive product offering calendar across Private Markets including: Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Special Situations and Energy Transition within its Alternative Investments platform for various client demographics.In addition to product sourcing, deal negotiating and feeder fund structuring this position may require connectivity with financial advisors and clients to execute complex product transactions across private placements and RICs.The role is an integral part of the broader team Private Markets team responsible across the illiquid spectrum of Alternative Investments including private equity, real estate, real assets, credit and special situations as well as perpetual and evergreen offerings.Initiatives specifically include:Sourcing managers/fundsOnboarding managers and launching feeder funds and direct investmentsDetermining offering and pricing structuresNegotiating termsManaging external funds relationships while assisting on existing productsDriving initiatives that advance and support a robust Alternative Investments platform that meets the unique needs of the private bank / institutional clientsThe Private Equity/Real Assets Product Origination team strives to develop and maintain a comprehensive product offering calendar across its Alternative Investments platform for various client demographics.In addition to product sourcing, deal negotiating and feeder fund structuring this position may act as secondary coverage for financial advisors and clients to execute complex product transactions across private placements and RICs.The role works alongside the broader team Private Equity/Real Assets Origination team responsible across the illiquid spectrum of Alternative Investments including private equity, real estate, real assets, credit and special situationsResponsibilities:Works in conjunction with Sales and due Diligence to determine appropriate funds to offer to ML clientsDevelops appropriate legal structure and operational process for each productAssists in determining pricing structuresNegotiates business and operating terms with fund managersCoordinates launching and oversight of private equity fundsCoordinates investment and business due diligence effortsEnsures proper internal and external legal reviewCoordinates internal review processesCreates contractual agreements and business proposalsAnalyzes private equity offering documents to determine business, legal and headline riskMaintains comprehensive knowledge of all private equity fund structures, terms and other industry trendsSpecific responsibilities for the management of existing products and external fund relationship efforts will include but not be limited to:Coordinates appropriate actions to address developing matters with existing fundsDrafts formal communications for financial advisors and clientsOngoing maintenance of platform collateralIntegration of offerings across the Bank of America platform Required Qualifications:8+ years of general financial industry experienceKnowledge of financial market required, a lean toward private markets preferredDemonstrated capability to work in a team environmentAbility to manage and execute multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSIE, Series 7, 63/65 or Series 66 or must be willing to obtain within 120 days of start dateDesired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (concentrated in Finance or Business MBA preferred)Strong alternative experience, within private equity origination or deal sourcingSkills:Analytical ThinkingCustomer and Client FocusFinancial ManagementPresentation SkillsRisk ManagementBusiness DevelopmentClient ManagementClient Solutions AdvisoryMarket AnalysisNegotiationCausation AnalysisFinancial Forecasting and ModelingProduct ManagementRelationship BuildingResult OrientationShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)Pay and benefits informationPay range$116,000.00 - $225,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
