Quality Specialist

Dallas, United States | Posted on 07/28/2026 The Quality Specialist serves as the site-level quality leader responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring product quality, and supporting compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead site-level Quality Management System activities. Manage nonconforming material, corrective actions, root cause investigations, document control, calibration, and quality records. Oversee receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspection activities. Coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits. Track audit findings and corrective actions through completion. Monitor and report quality objectives, metrics, trends, and recurring issues. Support product release by verifying inspection, testing, and documentation requirements. Train employees on quality procedures, inspection requirements, and QMS processes. Maintain records required by applicable standards, certifications, and customer requirements. Support supplier quality issues and corrective actions. Participate in new product introductions, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to resolve quality concerns. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least five years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified quality system. Experience with audits, non-conformance management, corrective actions, calibration, inspection, and quality documentation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and inspection practices. Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ability to analyze quality data, trends, and performance metrics. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP or quality management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy, judgment, and attention to detail.
