JCW is currently working on behalf of a growing US-based bank that is looking to hire a Lead Auditor for their recently established Credit Audit team. Operating as an SME, this position will be responsible for credit and lending audits across the bank. This position can be remote for individuals residing in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and manage credit risk audit engagements across the bank.
• Oversee junior staff and review workpapers.
• Work directly with stakeholders, providing regular updates to them and audit leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of internal audit or risk advisory experience.
• Credit risk/loan review experience required; credit risk audit experience preferred.
• Certifications like CIA, CPA, or CISA required within 12 months of joining.
