Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
This position offers a flexible schedule with the option of 4/12-hour shifts and overtime after 48 hours, or 3/12-hour shifts with overtime after 40 hours.
The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role involves collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. The nurse will conduct assessments, plan and implement nursing care, and foster patient and family-centered care, consistent with hospital policies and professional guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
- Plan and implement nursing care according to the needs of the patient and their family.
- Make appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Room is required.
- Certification in TNCC or ENPC is required.
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications are necessary.
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan.
