Transportation For Cardinal Health Operations

Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Shift Details

• 5:00 am to 1:30 pm - Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Experience in a pick/pack/ship distribution environment
• Effective multitasking skills, providing attention to several service related issues at once
• Excellent problem solver
• Exceptional communication skills
• Previous customer service experience is ideal
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take on additional operations job assignments as necessary
• Must be experienced and comfortable working in Excel

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience, preferred
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution

• Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments

Anticipated hourly range : $15.00 - $22.44 per hour based on experience
