The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics within our organization is seeking a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to enhance our team. Located at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital, our multidisciplinary group includes physicians, advanced practice providers, psychologists, speech therapists, and master's level clinicians, all dedicated to serving patients from a 25-county area surrounding the Capital District of New York.

Our team's responsibilities encompass:

• Conducting diagnostic evaluations and managing medical care for patients up to 21 years old facing a variety of developmental challenges, such as:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Developmental delays
  • ADHD
  • Learning disabilities
  • Behavioral health issues, including anxiety
  • Neonatal follow-up
• Collaborating with pediatric specialists in fields such as psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology, and genetics.
• Implementing recent innovations like a Medical Home for children with ASD, establishing a feeding team, and creating a "fast track" developmental screening process for children under five.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Board certification or eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
• A passion for developing innovative programs within the realm of developmental and behavioral practice.
• Experience or a desire to educate house staff and medical students.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations.

The competitive salary range for the Assistant Professor position is between $190,000 and $198,000, depending on experience. Compensation for higher academic ranks will be discussed during the interview process.
