Desktop Support Technician

We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Sulligent, Alabama (US-AL), United States. Position Overview Individuals have well-rounded knowledge of policies and procedures for their work area. The work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters, though it is primarily routine. May make policy recommendations to managers and serve as an escalation point for less experienced teammates. Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops, notebooks, and printers. May respond to calls after normal business hours as instructed. Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end‑user experience and takes corrective action. Updates and resolves tickets in a timely manner to achieve service levels. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of desktop support experience, including hardware support and Windows operating systems. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Solid client service skills. A+ desktop and various hardware platform certifications preferred. Ability to perform general office physical tasks.
