Nuclear Siting Project Manager - Natrium Technology

Remote; Bellevue, WA TerraPower is a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington. Key Responsibilities Program Coordination Lead the integrated siting program for Natrium projects, coordinating across TerraPower departments and ensuring schedule, budget and deliverable alignment. Site Characterization Oversee scope and schedule development for project site characterization (geology, hydrology, seismology). Cross‑Functional Integration Coordinate input from internal subject matter experts and external consultants across environmental, geotechnical, regulatory and land acquisition specialties. Regulatory Alignment Support Regulatory Affairs and Licensing Department with documentation for NRC early site permits and other federal/state approvals; ensure compliance with nuclear and environmental regulations. Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate closely with government entities, utilities, local and community stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and long‑term partnerships. Develop & maintain risk registers, decision matrices and tracking tools for executive‑level site selection decisions. Reporting & Documentation Prepare regular program reports, briefings and presentations for leadership, partners and regulatory bodies. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management or related field. Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in nuclear projects (construction or operations), energy infrastructure or large‑scale industrial siting and permitting. Proven project management experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with NRC siting criteria (10 CFR Part 100), NEPA and state‑level environmental permitting. Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. In‑depth understanding of nuclear safety regulations and/or environmental standards (e.g., NRC, NEPA). Preferred Master’s degree in a technical or management discipline. PMP or similar project management certification. Experience with advanced reactor technologies or DOE/NRC programs. Prior experience working with utilities or public‑private energy partnerships. Job Functions Motor abilities: sitting for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control. Physical exertion: minimal; ability to lift up to 25 lb. Special senses: visual and audio focused work. Work conditions: stairs, typing/keyboard, standard sitting environment >8 hrs/day. Travel: 0‑10 %. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $117,922 – $176,833 (Washington State). Typically offers placed in the lower to middle portion. Competitive compensation, eligible for discretionary short‑term incentive payments.
