What We're Looking For ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification (within 6 months of hire) Prior acute care experience preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Education: 2‑Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP‑recognized Sonography Program, required. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, required. Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty – RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department‑Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty – RT(S) or ARDMS, required. NH Medical Group Office‑Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty – RT(S) or ARDMS, required. What You’ll Do The Sonographer assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
